This is an absolutely rotten app. Among the worst I ever encountered. As many others observed, it simply crashes, providing a laundry list of possible causes wthout any specifics. Aside from the crashing, the process of setting it up takes days because the details are mailed using the postal service. The IT guys at DKB are rolling their own security solution and it sucks.

Really unreliable app, very buggy, crashes all the time - makes it impossible to do banking with dkb. Device: umidigi F1 play, non root, vanilla android 9 (non custom rom), worked 3 month ago, just stopped working. Tried to reinstall, now crashes while creating password - after entering it twice in that dialog that prevents a password manager and therefore usage of secure passwords. No, it is really one of the worst and most horrible apps that I have ever seen programmed.

Hallo Ulrich, danke für dein nochmaliges Feedback. Es scheint als erkennt die App dein Gerät als gerootet bzw. als ein Sicherheitsrisiko. Das kommt bei einigen Chinageräten ab und zu vor. Hier haben wir beschränkt Handlungsmöglichkeiten. Könntest du als Alternative das chipTAN Verfahren aktivieren? Viele Grüße, deine DKB

The App does what it's supposed to do. But the login system of DKB is confusing and needlesly complicated, the instructions haven't been properly updated for the new login regulations and if you try to contact them to solve even the simplest of problems, the whole experience becomes extremely anoying. You wait forever on the phone, the automatic system might hang up on you multiple times because the lines are too busy and unless you write them an angry email, you might never be able to login.
