Download Yamareco for Android
Download Yamareco for Android, Yamareco is a mapping application that can be used as a GPS device for mountaineering and outdoor use.
It is the only application that can support the activities necessary for mountaineering, from creating a mountaineering plan to sending a mountaineering notification, checking the map while climbing, and creating a record after climbing.
[Before mountaineering] You can easily create a planned mountaineering plan in advance and provide notice of mountaineering to each prefecture via the "compass" system of the Japan Mountain Guide Association.
You can download the map and route information for mountaineering notice given before climbing.
[while climbing]
Since the map is downloaded in advance, you can check your current location with GPS even in the mountains where mobile signals do not reach.
If you enter the planned route, you can view the summit and trail arrival time based on your current walking speed. You can also easily leave photos and videos while climbing.
In addition, by linking to the "Ima Coco" app and website, you can inform your family and friends of your current location safely and in real time while using the "Yamareko" app while climbing.
[after climbing]
After climbing the mountain, you can call the "compass" system when descending from the app and tell your family that you have safely finished climbing.
As for the photos taken and the GPS logs, if you leave them on Yamareco's website as "hiking logs", you can easily post the information on the Internet.
In addition, since the information remains on the server, it can be used as a backup when the smartphone crashes.
【Features】
1) Maps can be used offline
The Geospatial Information Authority of Japan maps can be downloaded as a "cache" for local use.
In addition, Yamareko's "everyone's footprints" are also displayed, so you can see at a glance where everyone is actually walking (where the mountain trail is).
Of course, place name data recorded in Yamareko is also included, so you can check out small mountains and mountain passes that aren't on the map.
2) Submit your climb notification online
It's linked to the "compass" system operated by the Japan Mountain Guides Association, and you can make a mountaineering plan using the app and send it as-is to the compass as a mountaineering notification.
In every prefecture of the Japan Mountain Guides Association, if you submit a plan to Compass, it will be treated as if you submitted a notice to climb.
Because the mountaineering notice submitted online is used for rescue, the security is higher than that of sending it on paper to an unmanned mountaineering center, and it is possible to respond quickly in an emergency.
3) You can download the route and the map as a set
In addition to pre-made area maps, you can also download routes and maps created in your climbing plan.
You can also download tracks and maps from other people's hiking logs, GPX files, etc.
4) Know your arrival time!
The downloaded map shows the standard course time, so you can easily imagine when and where you'll be on the climb.
Also, if you enter the path you plan to walk, it will display the time and minute when you plan to reach each point (mountain peak, branch, trail, etc.) that you will pass based on your current walking pace.
I think you can use it as a benchmark to decide when to go back in the mountains so that you can go down the mountain before sunset.
5) You can leave GPS logs and notes while climbing!
When you start climbing, you can leave a note in text as well as GPS logs, photos, audio, video, etc.
It syncs to the timing when a mobile signal arrives, so you can tweet the excitement of standing on top of a mountain!
6) You can share your current location with your family!
If you take a GPS history, your current location will be saved periodically in Yamareco, and you will be able to check your current location using Yamareco's "now coco" function.
By accessing "Ima Coco" on the family's computer or smartphone, the family can check the current location at any time.

Feel free to use it as needed.
7) You can easily leave a mountain trip log!
Easily create a mountain trip log using the photos and GPS logs you created while climbing!
Since you don't need to upload photos once the sync is complete, the waiting time for photo recording is also shortened.
8) It can also be used with smart watches!
With Wear OS by Google smartwatches, you can easily check the map at your fingertips. In addition, you will be able to notice the warning when you deviate from the planned route, so you can enjoy the climb more safely!
* Applies to smartwatches with Wear OS 2.0 or later.
The process was confirmed with P.
