Download AlwaysOnEdge - Notification LED for Android, keep Edge always lit at 0% CPU usage, this is an extension, not just an app, it's an app I made.

Edge light works without receiving a notification. Plus playback when a notification arrives.

This is a remix between always-on display and edge lighting but with many more options to control.

AlwaysOnEdge -Notification LED main features

When will it start?

- Manually, only when I want to open the app.

- Automatic, always on every time I lock the screen.

- Only when a notification arrives:

If the screen is on, it can only light up the notification bar

You can add a toggle switch in the system notification panel to toggle turning on manually (disable) / or something else you specify (enable).

For notifications, you can select each app and its lighting color and time from other apps.

No matter which launch option you choose, you can, at any time, press the volume down key to quit the app and never launch it again until the next device lock.

You can remove the AOE icon from the notification bar.

Option to not turn on if the battery level is less than ..

Option to not run if it is under load.

Home button option.

Option to not run the app between a period such as bedtime.

Pocket mode, closing when in pocket or screen down, and resuming when out (more power).

SmartUnlock, when the device is on a flat surface and I pick it up, I lock and unlock the screen (more power).

Edge lighting can be enabled/disabled.

Widgets change their location every 10 metres. Of course the widgets will use extra power (optimized too) but the main use of the app is edge lighting

It is not for older devices.

Please don't blame us if you don't have one.

This app works on any device but mainly targets devices with AMOLED screens like Samsung S8, S8+, Samsung S9, S9+, Note 8 and many more, it works/looks perfectly on AMOLED screens otherwise it will consume more power.
