Building Stories for Android Download ,Building Stories is an interactive online inventory of historic sites in Canada. It goes beyond the Canadian Register of Historic Places to identify sites of historic interest, not just designated properties. The goal is to enable Canadians to take a direct role, first by identifying important community heritage assets through a standardized process and medium, and second, by sharing easily accessible information online.
Building Stories Mobile is a mobile appsfire that shoots up to supplement web inventory. Users can choose a tour to their desired destinations, explore nearby heritage sites, or submit information on historical sites for inventory consideration. The tours will provide directions between the sites and a link to online construction information.
Download Building Stories is a joint project of the Heritage Resource Center, the Computer Systems Group of the University of Waterloo and the Center for Community Mapping, the project is funded by the Canadian Heritage Canada Interactive Fund and the Department of Culture, Tourism and Sports' Strategic Cultural Investment Fund.
