What. Snoopsnitch scans your phone's firmware with installed or missing Android security patches. On * compatible * appsfire mobile phones, Snoopsnitch can collect and analyze mobile radio data to inform you of mobile network security and alert you to threats such as fake base stations (IMSI hunters), user tracking and SS7 attacks.
How. Snoopsnitch allows you to scan your phones firmware and provides detailed Vulnerability Status Report (CVE) per month.
Network Security and Attack Control: To use these features, a rooted device * with a Qualcomm chipset running Android 4.1 or higher is required. Custom ROMs are often not supported because they may not have the necessary proprietary drivers. (CyanogenMod seems to work for some users.)

to contribute. Snoopsnitch uses data provided by users. Patch scan results and firmware build details are uploaded to our server. This helps improve the tools and further research the Android Patch scene.
You can also choose to help improve global network security and threat statistics by uploading your network metrics or security events. Snoopsnitch will send a confirmation before this information is uploaded to our servers. All downloads are encrypted.
