While it is fairly easy to configure the DNS servers that your device uses when using Wi-Fi, Android does not offer any option to change the DNS servers used when using a mobile connection (2G / 3G / 4G, etc.).
This application creates a local VPN connection (do not leave any phone data with this VPN connection) to use DNS servers configured on Wi-Fi and mobile networks without the need for root permissions.
Both IPv4 and IPv6 can be used, a feature not supported by many phones (Android doesn't even offer IPv6 DNS settings in its Wi-Fi settings).
