The app uses two different solutions - IR Blaster connection and Local Area Network (LAN) connection (e.g. via WiFi):
1) IR Blaster - All major TV manufacturers appsfire are supported (Samsung, LG, Sony, Panasonic, Pizio, Philips, etc.). To use this function, your smartphone must be equipped with an infrared blaster. Check your phone/tablet specs to make sure your phone has it. All Samsung Top Samsung models have, in addition, the latest HTC smartphones and each other.
2) LAN (WIFI) - This solution uses your home network. Your TV must be on the same network as your smartphone. For example, your television is connected to your internet router by wire or via WiFi and your smartphone uses the same WiFi connection.

* Samsung - Most Samsung C-Series or later TVs are supported. But you may need to enable the remote control option in the TV's menu system settings. The TV and phone/tablet will be connected automatically.
* LG - Solution only works with LG TV Smart TV-S (models since 2012). If your TV and smartphone/tablet are on the same network, but the app can't find any devices, your TV is probably not supported. Not all commands are available, but the most common are supported.
