Requires the free "Navigation Pro" companion app from Samsung Galaxy Apps.
how to use:
- Install Samsung Gear and connect to your Gear smartwatch.
- Install this "Navigation Pro" app on your watch.
- Install the "Navigation Pro" app from Google Play on your phone.
- Start the "Navigation Pro" app on your phone.
Allow the app to read notifications. (Go to: Settings > Security > Notification access and enable Navigation Pro.)
- Start navigating in Google Maps and directions will be sent to your smartwatch.
solving problems
- Make sure that your Gear watch is connected to the phone and has "Galaxy Wearable" installed on it.
- If the app only shows “Ready” message, make sure that Maps notifications are turned on and shown on your phone (go to: Settings > Apps > Maps and enable Show Notifications).
- Reboot the smartphone and Gear watch
- Uninstall from the phone, restart the phone and reinstall the application
- If you have a Xiaomi phone, go to Security -> Permissions -> AutoPlay and turn on “Gear Navigation”
