Support for 5G networks and dual SIM devices will be available soon.

Special thanks to S4GRU for their tremendous support of SignalCheck right from the start! For the latest information and discussions about Sprint network updates, plus talk about other wireless devices and networks. There is also a long discussion thread in the SignalCheck forum.

SignalCheck will display LTE cell ID information on most devices running Android 4.2 or higher, and some HTC devices running earlier versions of Android. SignalCheck was one of the first (if not the first) Android apps to provide this information to users. LTE band and frequency information is available on compatible devices running Android 7+. LTE band information is also available on legacy devices connected to major US carriers. Root access adds LTE frequency information on older devices.

SignalCheck also displays the current connection type with the carrier name for each connection, even while roaming.

One of the best features of SignalCheck Pro is the notification icons. A user-customizable icon displays the strength of your data connection in the notification area at the top of the screen, more details can be found in the drop-down menu. Signal strength is always at the top of the screen along with other icons... No need to open the app to check your connections. Icons are customizable and display signal bars, connection type, digital signal strength in decibels, or connection type with signal strength. A bytecode can be enabled to always display a 1xRTT signal to CDMA users. All this is customizable from within the app!

SignalCheck Pro can also notify the user with optional audio, visual, and/or vibration alerts when user-defined events occur, such as connections to certain LTE bands, total signal loss, or location pattern matching.

"Neighboring" cells that are in range of your device, but you are not currently connected to are displayed.

Users can track the connected locations and enter a 'note' for each location to be displayed in the app (eg 'Springfield High School Tower'). Notes are also displayed in adjacent cells.

SignalCheck Pro also provides direct access to advanced Android screens, such as screens for debug/engineering data, battery information, field testing, mobile networks, Wi-Fi information, and more. These screens are already available on most Android devices, but they can only be accessed using special connection codes.

Other features include the ability to automatically keep the screen on while SignalCheck Pro is in the foreground, display base station location (CDMA 1X location / sector location), street address, and display them instantly in your app. Current connection type and signal strength in real time. Each widget field is color coded so signal information can be checked at a glance.

The added feature is the option to quickly restore your data connections from within the app, but your device must be "rooted" for this to work on Android 4.2 and later. This feature does not work on non-rooted devices.

We are always looking for feedback, including suggestions and bug reports. Compliments are always welcome

This app is also known as Signal Check, Signal Check LTE, LTE Signal Check, LTE Checker, among other things... It's just SignalCheck folks.
