• Ease of use in all applications:

- Use the share feature from other apps to send a text or URL to T2S to talk. For URLs, the app can load and extract the texts of articles on web pages. appsfire

- On Android M(6)+ devices, you can select text from other apps, tap the "Speak" option from the text selection menu, and the app will speak the selected text (*Requires third-party apps to use standard system components).

- Transcript to speak function: (*Not available on Android 10+) Turn on "Tranpe to speak" in settings, then you can copy text or URL from other apps, T2S will speak it.

• We highly recommend installing and using the Google speech engine, it has the best compatibility with the application.

Google speech engine:

• If the app frequently stops unexpectedly in the background, or frequently displays an error message that says, “Speech engine is not responding,” you may need to change your battery saver settings to allow the app to run. Application and speech engine application to run in the background.

More information about this:

• Transcripts to talk will not be available after Android 10. Android 10 blocks access to the clipboard for all apps running in the background. Unfortunately, this breaks the "copy to speak" feature.
