PercussionTutor is an educational app for percussion enthusiasts around the world. The app and its free Creative Commons appsfire.co -licensed companion book feature a unique library of world beats and instruments played by leading percussionists and drummers. A time-stretching function and a metronome give users the flexibility to practice at their own pace. Sheets and notes are included for all rhythms.

PercussionTutor will allow you to approach South American, Caribbean and West African music in a different way. This application offers you more than just an accompanying game. It includes standard notation, videos (COMING NEXT ANDROID UPDATE!) and specific claves. We also took great care to capture the natural feeling of all these drumming traditions.
For batá beats, we even developed a shuffle engine that will simulate a real batá performance.
