Important warnings:
If you are having trouble stopping the AMOLED service on your device, please enable the “Force Service” option in the “Service” category in the options menu. This feature will help prevent Android from accidentally stopping the service. If the issue persists after enabling Force Service, please check if your device has a battery manager and disable Battery Optimization for AMOLED app.
This application is designed for AMOLED and OLED screens. It will also work on any other type of screen such as LCD or IPS, but may consume more battery on these devices. Black pixels are turned off in AMOLED and OLED displays, while they do not occur in LCD and IPS displays.
Samsung Galaxy devices: If touch is blocked when running this app on the lock screen, please head to your device Settings -> Display and uncheck/disable/toggle “Block unintentional touch”. The app will be able to work as expected and the bottom navigation bar will no longer appear or show this warning. It is also recommended to set the screen resolution to WQHD+.
Huawei devices: If the navigation buttons appear on the always-on display, please go to your device settings and search for “Passive touch points” and disable it.
Xiaomi devices: You will need to access the Security app -> Permissions -> AMOLED and set the popup permission to display on the lock screen.
