Warning: This topic is intended for Samsung devices running Oreo and Pie (One Ui) only. The underlying theme engine must be installed to use this application.
Pitch-black S is the result of mastering the art of materiality, taking into account the depths of simplicity and playing with the most vibrant color combinations. It allows users to choose to use dark and/or black wallpapers, saving power for AMOLED devices and making them battery friendly.
Theme sets and overlays
Pitchblack S includes pre-formatted theme sets with pairs of accents and background for each.
Offers over 130 theme sets and 160 high-resolution dark app overlays.
Supported operating system
• Samsung Pie OneUI (works with Root or Synergy).
• Samsung Oreo 8.0/1.
Installation
• Enable system dark mode if you are using One UI.
• Substrate release.
• Click on the PitchBlack S tile.
• Select your Android version.
• Select All and configure the selected apps with the required options there (System apps, such as Settings, Android, SystemUI, must be selected).
• Click on Build and Update.
• Wait until all overlays are installed and enabled.
• Finally restart.

A: Actually no, you can use it without root thanks to the Andromeda application.

A: Please follow the steps in the instructions to install Andromeda.

A: Yes, you can use Sungtromeda mode through settings.
Q: What if I have a rooted device?
A: You can use the underlying layer and apply the theme without having to purchase Andromeda.
Q: Some overlays are installed but not working, what can I do?
A: Please enable Sungtromeda mode and install missing overlays manually.
Q: What if the topic is updated?
A: Create and activate the update while using the latest theme version.
Q: What if the app crashes after the update?
A: Reinstall the overlay, run it, and then reboot.
Q: How can I recover my device from frequent boot state?
A: Please try booting into safe mode and uninstalling the overlays. You can also use ADB to uninstall overlays via your computer.
